An authentic French rustic oak-beamed retreat, 70 Kms South West of Paris, 2Kms from the main N154, from the channel ports to Tours, the Loire valley and the Dordogne.

Le Jardin du Presbytère , is situated in Le Boullay-Thierry, just off the N154, between Dreux (12 Kms) and Chartres (20Kms) on the road known as « La Route des Anglais ».

It is a quiet place, ideally located for UK and overseas visitors wanting to combine a country stay with visits to well known tourist areas such as Paris, Versailles, Giverny, the Normandy beaches and the Loire Valley.
Local places to visit: Chartres Cathedral (Labyrinth), Madame de Maintenon’s Chateau, Royal Chapel at Dreux.

Patricia’s fluent English, from living in the UK for many years, bridges the cultural gap into the French way of life. French lessons available for families.

Patricia’s aim is to welcome guests as friends. L’Association des Maisons d’Amis « Fleurs de Soleil » reflects her idea of conviviality and hospitality.

Sitting room

The convivial atmosphere in the house reflects the international personality of its owner. The presbytery will seduce you with its charm. A little “Je ne sais quoi” that grows on you.

You will appreciate the large sitting room for its freshness in the summer and a open log fire in the evening will encourage conversations around the fireplace.

Pilgrims welcome: Member of Confraternity of St James in London and L’Association des Amis de St Jacques en Eure et Loir
